Khan said he was going to make a 'statement' he sure did, he has no chance with Mayweather or for that matter any of the top welters, that was evident for all to see.

After Khan struggled against Julio Diaz, Mayweather was talking up a Khan fight. And yet after Khan dominated Devon Alexander, Mayweather started talking down a Khan fight. Now that Khan struggled against Chris Algieri, I think Mayweather may very well start talking up a Khan fight. Floyd prefers fighting an opponent who looks beatable.

Either way, styles make fights. The Algieri fight is not necessarily indicative of what a May-Khan fight may look like. Khan has always had a weakness against pressure-fighting sluggers/stalkers with a high work rate, and that's the last thing he was expecting from Algieri. Slugging just isn't Mayweather's style, and he's too old to have that kind of high work rate. The last time he stalked/chased down someone was Zab Judah in 2006, so a prime Floyd could have done that and maybe even KO'd Khan, but current Floyd would have problems against him.

            Floyd needs to see something

Just like when he saw Algieri landing that right hand on Pacman

He's seen that same right hand land on Khan last night

            He'll take the fight now

            Floyd loves that right hand

              As E-40 would say "NOPE".....

Brook vs Khan should happen. Mayweather would destroy Khan to the point that the same kitty kats that claimed Floyd was ducking Khan will say Floyd cherry picked him.
