Enough respect to Anorak for this excellent thread. And some beeatch was accusing him of posting crap just to get access to the boxing downloads.

Harrison LOST NO QUESTION. HARRISON KNOWS IT. THE CROWD NO IT. Polo ripped off again. Polo ROBBED.

      It really wasn't that bad.

You make it sound as though it was a one-sided drubbing from bell to bell. It wasn't.

Considering it was your first time seeing Harrison fight, your ignorance is understandable. Most who follow Harrison already know of his limitations, BOTH medina fights exposed his level.

It was a close fight that Polo inched. The challenger always has to BEAT the champion, and receiving a draw was adequate compensation for Polo's effort.

Just be glad they didn't award the decision to Harrison (outright).

Here's Manuel Oliveira's scorecards from recent bouts:

Williams vs. Klitschko - Danny scored a KO
Tyson vs. Lewis - Lewis battered
Tarver vs. Jones II - a shutout for Roy, 120-109

So I'm naive for not realising he's crap? And that if I'd known he was severely limited as a boxer I'd have seen the bout differently? Okay.

An across the board draw I would have whinged about, but accepted. But to have Harrison up...

It was competitive, but Harrison lost.

I could see how someone would have scored it for Harrison.

Aggression can sometimes sway favour. It may not have been as effective in the second half of the fight, but nevertheless, it was there. Personally I had Harrison losing by 2, but I could have gone either way on a number of rounds.

I'd hardly call Harrison 'crap' though, he's definitely world class. Whether or not you'll ever see him in there with the likes of MAB, EM, JMM or MP is probably now in dispute.

Chi is within his reach though, and if he comes through that then it's likely that the onus will be on him to face one of them.

By the way, are you a Scot?

No, that's how Medina saw the second.

Granted, he was the agressor. No, I'm not Scottish. I imagine if I was, I'd have had Harrison... actually, forget that. Even the crowd knew it wasn't a draw.

I'd call Harrison lower world class. He could compete, but from what I saw last night, there's no way he could mix it with the premier league.
