Comments Thread For: Khan Tested, Decisions Game Algieri, Floyd Next?

I saw nothing in tonight's fight that makes me think that Khan has a snowball's chance in hell against Mayweather. Khan was easy to hit and had difficulty handling the pressure of a guy with eight knockouts.
It is a good thing that he didn't fight Brook because he would have lost and possibly would have been KO'd. If Mayweather fights him next, Khan may last the distance, but he won't go the distance against any quality welterweight with a decent punch -- Maidana, Thurman, Brook, Pacquaio.

Just watched it,
it's safe to say Khans biggest improvement was his ability to clinch, or grab his opponent.
He was getting hit with right hands all night, and a lot of left hooks.

Much respect to JDJ and Algieri after this fight. Amazing improvement from last fight. If not then Pac is 2 levels above Khan and Floyd 3 levels above. I gotta go with the improvement and also I think Khan looked like he gassed a bit each round, the clinching and infighting tired him a lot.

Algieri showed us all what we already knew..Khan is a con. Khan got rocked several times by a guy with 8 KOs. He's just better at hiding it now. Algieri landed the harder shots, cut off the ring all night, and was the aggressor throughout the fight. The ref was on Khan's side. The commentary was awful and clearly biased for Khan and if you disagree, put a ******* in your mouth. If Algieri was able to time Khan better with his counters, he would have knocked him out... Yes, he would have. Regardless, The fight was close, a draw or could have been a one point win to either man. I had Algieri. **** yourselves. 117-111 was a disgrace and I hope those judges get unholy diarrhea. Anyway, much respect to Algieri. He deserves it.Last edited by ChestRockwell; 05-29-2015, 11:07 PM.
