Khans gameplan wasnt for that sort of fight, he thought he'd have to be the aggressor, and chase Algieri around, but instead he had to fight on the backfoot, with Algieri doing his best Lamont Petterson impersonation

Algieri was trying to turn it into a dog fight, the old Khan would have bit back

Khans usual fast handed flurries were not there, he fought at a much slower pace, and surprisingly still had success. Algieri was giving as less room for Khan to work as possible, it was a good gameplan, but Khan adjusted.
Given that Algieiri is a completely different style of fighter than Peterson and about 6 inches taller, do you not find it concerning that even then Khan had real problems getting past Algieiri?

Algieiri is a kick boxer turned boxer, then a hit and run outside fighter and NOW he is slick and rugged like Peterson lol.

Khan was found out, he just is not that good.

He should have been better prepared. Hunter should have prepared a better plan B.
And for 12 rounds there is no plan B since he surprised you?!!

Khan was never a good boxer. His big mouth is what brought him the fights. Tonight's showing just proved how much over-hype this guy gets. I can name a handful of boxers that would beat Khan....Thurman, Garcia, Peterson, Brook, Matthysse, Pac. Floyd would make a fool out of this guy. Khan wants to cash out before he gets exposed even more.

I thought Khan had a glass jaw?

So what happened to Khans glass jaw. I saw him get hit pretty good. Oh wait its Chris hand right? No power?

Khan, trying to fight like Floyd. Should have been a draw and I don't think Khan deserves a Floyd fight. Chris exposed Khan and If Algieri was a puncher, Khan would have went down early..props to Chris for making the fight worth watching.

Algieri got robbed. And farhood is a joke. I think I agree that I am watching the same fight as him, maybe 1 in a 100 fights.

Khan could not adapt at all to algieris style. Instead he threw just to throw, clinched and ran

Even hunter wanted him to actually fight

Pbc commentators were obviously swaying public perception toward accepting a khan route. Even steve farhood, heavens! Has anybody ever seen a tool score a fight more biased that Farhood? It's insulting intelligence!

Khan didn't deserve a fight with Mayweather before or after this fight. The only reason this is even being talked about is because Khan has been begging for a fight and some people are delusional enough to think he could cause problems for Mayweather.
