I realize Jermain needs help, and I hope he gets it, but geez... they call THAT brutal? That's your average fighter after a 10 rounder. At least the loser.

I'd be Taylor's mentor if I had time. Keep him in line. That's pretty much all he needs, someone who wouldn't put up with his mood swings etc etc. Shame though, one of my favorite fighters, had a few miles left, and he definitely left some moolah on the table. SMH

Well he was in rehab at the time, so all of this could be drug related, or a little bit of both.

Wow this is just sad. I really hope Taylor can find some help. No one deserves to go through what Taylor is going through right now.

Something is clearly wrong with Jermaine's brain. The ways he's acted out while outside the ring the last few years is really concerning and highly questionable.

I think he has brain damage. Maybe some kind of inflammation happening towards his brain stem or something that could be making him a more aggressive and unpredictable person.

He was a total good ol' boy back in the day (like 2006). Things have gotten really dark for him, it's really sad.

feel bad for both the victim and taylor. i dont know whats happening to taylor but i hope he finds some peace of mind.

thats what his therapist said, that he is an alcoholic and loses control when he is under the influence. i think this is the first incident where he was sober and who knows the full story, perhaps the guy just needed an asswhupping.

but whats more likely is taylor suffers from regret, he could have been one of the greats but he squandered it and will go down as a cautionary tale of not taking your craft seriously. more than anything i think his pride has been hurt by the way he lost those fights and he drinks to forget, but drinking only makes the demons louder. add some head trauma that further reduces his decision making and we have this mess.

its a real shame too, taylor seemed like a truly good person and i think he still is. those are often the ones who are the most tortured inside.
