Marco "Dorado" Reyes (20-1, 13 KOs) will be trained by Hall of Fame coach Nacho Beristain for his upcoming fight with Julio Chavez Jr. (33-2, 24 KOs). The Showtime televised fight will happen on July 18th, possibly in El Paso, Texas.

Chavez Jr. is returning just three months after losing, by way of knockout in nine rounds, in a dangerous fight with light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. It was Chavez's debut with Showtime and manager Al Haymon.

This supposed "kid" has been fighting in the pros for over 10 years, let's stop treating him like some still up & coming prospect. Secondly, plain and simple, no matter how hard he trains he just plain AINT no elite talent!! Never was, never will be. Would've he ever been a champ without his permissive Godfather pulling the strings? Heck NO!! He's a shade better than Brian Vera, nothing more. He along with the WBC have done the sport much harm BUT.. seeing him getting his butt kicked every so often is good for the sport and the true fan!!
