Read that article earlier, Not a great read IMO , Grantland used to have good boxing articles with Jay Kaspian Kang his write ups on Don King , Adrien Broner , Canelo, Manny / Marquez fight were all top notch & Rafe has some legit opinions

but lately I've noticed that site slipping, it isn't as good as it used to be and they kind of tow the Espn company line especially with boxing which isn't a good thing.


Duvas such a bitter lame h0e? Why don't they ask that h0e about doing a purse bid for KOv / Stevenson or why she couldn't cut it with her 1 fighter stable on NBC and what her ratings looked like.

Ring girls are cool don't get me wrong but unlike some ( Barcham , Divine Hammer ) I dont really care if they get screen time or not and it won't make or break a fight for me. I get the missing the corner action but commercials are needed

This isn't really worth a write up , PBC gets negative press regardless no ring girls it's a bad thing ( where's the **** ) if they sold sex there'd be a write up ( why are they sexualizing boxing , why do we need so much **** ) . It's a lose lose kind of thing.

You just do not get it, do you? It is not JUST the ring girls, it is not JUST the ring announcer, it is not JUST the ring entrances, it is not JUST the proud display of the title belts, IT IS ALL OF THOSE THINGS COMBINED! They have ALWAYS been a part of the boxing SHOW.

A night at the fights is more than just watching the guys fight in the ring, it is the entire production. It is the fighters and their entourage walking to the ring, it is the sexy ring girls with their great legs, **** and smiles, it is the excitement of a fighter being announced in the ring by an experienced announcer, it is the fighter and his entourage celebrating the win after the fight or consoling their fighter after a loss. ALL of this makes a fight night worth anticipating and waiting for and watching. Remove the pomp and circumstance and you might as well be watching two tough guys fight in a bar.

And if it's a PBC show, it would be a half empty bar.

I actually do get it. Your a male who who acts like a female for 1 certain fighter and your on this site 24/7 gargling his semen or wishing you could be his wife meanwhile disrespecting fighters who have already paid their dues and your acting like a complete chump punk who isn't a fan of the sport just 1 fighter

But back to the topic I know you may need Corona girls , Buffer and ring entrances to be entertained especially when you watch your husband because the result is already predetermined. But I really only care about 2 top class fighters fighting. ( I've watched 100s of fights on YouTube where they cut out the intros or the break between rounds and honestly I could care less ) yeah to some degree some it enhances the show but it isn't make or break like your lame @ss makes it out to be.

So when you go back and watch fights of your hero or husband or whatever you call him before he landed on HBO are those fights not entertaining to you because he's fighting in a empty arena on some nothing German telecast ?

When i'm watching on Tv i couldn't care less about the ring girls, i'd rather listen to the corner, take a piss or grab a beer between rounds. But if i'm watching a fight live i want to see the ring girls, hear the ring announcer, the whole works for a boxing show.

I cant stand that ****, they practically stripped every part of the game out of it.

Hell I even went online to stream PBC from the official site cause you know maybe on stream they will show the inbetweens but nope a blank screen comes up saying we will return shortly.
