    Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sports is being swarmed with several lucrative fight options for his new world champion, IBF super middleweight king James "Chunky" DeGale (21-1, 14KOs).

    DeGale capture the title last Saturday night with a twelve round decision win over Andre Dirrell in Boston. He is being scheduled to return on an October date in London.

    One possible option for DeGale is former two division world champion Bernard 'The Alien' Hopkins (55-7-2, 32KOs).

              I don't see how Hopkins would beat degale

              Hopkins is crazy enough to take on Anyone so expect this fight to happen

                      Interesting match up... And it would be interesting to see Hopkins at 168. Haven't watched to much of Degale but Hopkins is a tough match up for almost any individual. As a Hopkins Fan, I'll go with The Executioner! I will definitely watch more of Degale to get a better opinion

                          Why don't you see it? Because Hopkins has trouble with tall rangy fighters?
                          But who has DeGale beaten? He has a loss to Groves. The decision could have gone to Dirrell in many eyes. He does not pose a physical threat the likes of Kovalev. I would put my money on b-hop, think he would pick him apart.

                              DeGale is easy prey for Hopkins. James is easy to hit and has a garbage clinch. BHop would implement his tag and grab all damn night. Hopkins is vulnerable to bold guys with a high workrate, of which DeGale is neither. Would be a dreadful fight to watch but another good win for the alien.
