The whole thing is obviously beyond an analyst/boxer with a hard opinion. There's real hate there. It's personal. Something had to have happened somewhere along the line...maybe it's like some have pointed to, where Manny was already preparing to fight Hatton (I think it was Hatton) even though Hatton still had to get past Malignaggi, and Manny just assumed that Paulie would lose.

First off he lost to Mayweather.

Second off he would incinerate Broner.

Thirdly the fights with JMM were all close in my opinion.. actually I'm sure I have my scorecards saved somewhere....

Yea fights 1 and 2 I had 114-113 for Pac. Fight 1 I scored rounds 7,10 even and 8 was close but slight edge to Pac. Marquez easily won rds 4,5,6,9,11,12. So I figured depending on how the judges scored rounds 7,10 and given the three knockdowns this decision could easily go either way. W/O the knockdowns I definitely would have had Marquez winning the fight. In my opinion, this is where marquez most clearly outboxed Pac but he was doing so after getting blown out in the first round and not winning the next two rounds on my card either.

For fight 2 I didn't write any notes, just my scores. I remember there being at least 1 thin round and I was again in a situation where I thought the scoring could have gone in either direction.

Fight 3 I did not keep a live scorecard. Maybe like one of the other posters has said in this thread I should rewatch that one in slo-mo.
