Hold on, why are rematches exclusive to close fights? If the loser works his way up back to a solid position, a rematch is more than feasible. By your logic, we would never have got Ali-Frazier 2. Also, garcia has looked awful lately and a win which he knows he can get would earn back some credibility.

Whether you think Khan destroys garcia or gets KO'd in 1 is irrelavant, a rematch was turned down by Garcia and the fight is still plausible.

Khan still has the same bad habit and is still getting hit by hooks.

Danny's hook has some range so I don't think that this will go any different for except a few rounds more. Khan has a chance if he extends the fight because Danny consistently has faded down the stretch

I'm no Khan fan, but I would favor him on points in a rematch. Where has DSG's fire gone? He doesn't seem hungry anymore.

I definitely hear you, I think if Khan fought with strategy and focus he could win a UD or stop Garcia. Offensively he has all the tools he needs- but Garcia would see a big red button he just has to find and push once basically.

It's still an intriguing fight, I'd be excited to watch it if they ever make it happen.

Khan still makes the same mistakes, especially late in fights, no matter what Virgil tries to teach him.

Garcia is going to catch-and-shoot, Khan is going to start effectively coming in/out and, when Khan starts to tire come round 7-8, he's going to linger for too long coming in/going out, get cracked on the jaw, and do his little dance

Khan lost a fight that he was heavily favoured to win against Garcia. Danny's a hype job that got lucky. He should have lost those belts, and that '0' to Herrera & Peterson. Khan would dominate in a rematch but that doesn't mean we can't hate him for cherry picking his way through a PR driven career. I don't care to see Khan dominate someone like Garcia, I want to see him fight a genuine WW with power & skill. Brook or Thurman are being avoided at all costs. Even Porter would be a good fight. I'll change my opinion on Khan when he starts opting for "can lose" fights and comes though without doing his famous chicken dance.

Honestly though I would watch the rematch and I'd bet on it being a lot more competitive. But Amir's loss to Garcia was really something to see and something I'll remember for a long time.

No rematch because Garcia doesn't rematch fights in which he was severely tested . Thast why he wont rematch Mauricio . Lets also recall that before the KO , Kahn had Danny not only losing damn near every round but also abused , bloodied and confused .
