Default most boxing fans are low iq morons
I tend to agree. And they are most certainly easy to spot. Especially the ones who favor power over skill. They'll quickly jump on the Provodnikov's, the GGG's, the Lomachenko's and so on but downplay the achievements of guys like Crawford and Lara. Bloodthirsty UFC fans in disguise.

The low IQ morons who call themselves boxing fans are the ones who claim that clinching is "hugging," that lateral movement is "running," that jabbing your opponent is just "touching him," that defense "shouldn't count," but then turn around and claim Muhammad Ali is the Greatest simply because that is what they were told to believe.

Basically the so called fans who can't see the irony in their ******ity.

Against Monroe it was a different story, he was getting hit with fully committed shots to both the head and body. This wasn't at all similar to the Murray fight where he didn't care, looked more like he couldn't avoid the shots. The holes are there defensively but if he wants to be irresponsible against that level of opposition, it's gonna bite him in the ass when he steps up. How is he suppose to learn if he's "playing with his food" as you say?

Great post. Funny thing is is that the same people saying "Ali is the Greatest" are the same that would be calling him a boring runner if they were around during his era. They'd be hating on him worse than they hate Floyd and other defensive fighters.

In this scenario Crawford is the power puncher with a higher ko%. While both are skilled, Lomachenko has displayed a more versatile skill set while Crawford has displayed game changing power.

I actually meant to put Kovalev (prior to the BHOP fight). For now Lomachenko has proven that he's a decent fighter. We'll see what happens when he fights Walters though. I have a feeling Loma won't be able to handle him. As far as Crawford goes, he's got a bit of everything.
