my thing is this... Arum said it was an old injury from 2008 that he re aggravated in camp, then he switched to it happening during the fight. Roach said he tweaked it during the fight and Pac is kind of back and forth with it... so why the need for the pain numbing shot before the fight? what is the "official" story?
Interesting question there at the end.
This shoulder injury is starting to resemble a religious belief, where one believes what he hears and reads instead of what he sees and experiences.
But then again, people are free to chose what to believe in.
That's the difference between the real Truth and Belief
They'll likely never get a rematch with the level of disrespect they STILL continue to show Floyd.
What does Floyd gain by beating Pacquiao again? All they're going to say is that Manny's shoulder wasn't 100% and a week later we'll see a picture of Pac's arm in a sling...AGAIN.
They're sorry losers who refuse to be gracious in defeat.
That's why the rematch needs to happen. The judges thought Floyd was doing better than he actually was. When Pac used his right to jab and stuff it was followed by a grimace on his face as Floyd countered.
It made it look like Floyds punches were causing discomfort, but it was the injury to his shoulder.
So Mayweather waited for Pacquiao to get old and KO'D before fighting him and Pac's performance was hindered by a new/old/re-aggaravted injury.
When Mayweather beats Pacquiao again, he'll be older still, will still have been KO'D and will have had surgery on his injury.....
The excuses write themselves for the poor sore losers. Why bother?
Accept the loss and stop crying.... or just log off.
funny thing is they make it seem like floyd gains some sort of advantage when he fights in vegas. Regardless of who he fights over there the fighter he's facing has more people rooting for them. Mayweather generally gets booed entering and exiting the ring in vegas his "hometown". if the judges sometimes score based off the crowds reaction then floyd is generally always at a disadvantage in the sense seeing how the crowd reacts to whatever punches his opponents throw wether they land or not.
that was a pro pacquiao crowd from the celebrities all the way down to the normal folk (however few).. I don't know what they wanted the judges to do pac didn't even keep it close enough for them to rob him even if they wanted to. **** 116-112 was probably a little too close ...
a ko freddie? Really ... so you guys were focusing on landing "manila ice"? Vanilla ice has a better chance of going platinum again ..
Interesting how one of the articles mentions how the athletes mention getting a shot of toradol on their butt....what was the rumour a few years ago?...oh that's right-Pac getting a shot up the butt of some drug.
Nobody is talking a rematch because everyone is trying to forget that horrible show that was on display that we paid $100 dollars for.
I could of rewatched Mad Max Fury Road about 8 times with that $100 and STILL got more entertainment on the final viewing knowing exactly what was coming and probably able to recite the lines of the movie at that point than what I got with 1 overhyped out of it's prime fight.
The only people who still believe pacquiao wasn't injured are the ones who didn't re watch the fight. Its plain as day his right had no pop at all the second half of the fight. How could he hurt mayweather many times with his left but not even move or stun him at all with his right when hes been known to knock ppl down and really hurt guys with his right? He barely threw any right hooks and his surgeon who is very respected amongst pro athletes said he had a significant tear to his rotator cuff. Which makes his performance even more impressive
