This shows that Gamboa is mentally weak. When he came to the US he blended in with the wrong crowd. He thought he was a thug and probably still thinks he is. It's pretty sad he linked up with the wrong people and refuses to cut ties with them. He's not as mentally strong as say a Rigo or Lara.

So sad 50 has ruined this kids career and he is too dumb to realize it. He ain't making any real money and took a vicious beating in a fight that no legit promoter would of put him in. Either 50 has him in a slave contract or he's brainwashed. 50 was in over his head from day one and ruined every fighter who signed with him.

Gamboa has never been to bright outside of the ring, he was once HBO rising star but he got into that TR dispute and his manager has done a terrible job. I 've always liked watching him fight, hopefully he can get on the right path, he can bounce back at 130 or 135 he just needs to get it together.

Look up his criminal history since being in the US. It was pretty big news the last time he was arrested. His mugshot was posted on every boxing site.

He's linked to Cuban gangs in Miami, he's always hitting up the club scene getting wasted, and he dresses atrociously. I'm talking circa FUBU era, pants sagging and shorts that almost look like pants. His rap sheet is like a book too. He gets into street fights, and most recently I think he was involved in a domestic dispute.

All 50s fighters have been inactive. He can't secure them fights. Dirrell bounced on him because he couldn't get him fights. Kirkland was on the shelf a year and a half complaining about the fights and money 50 was offering him. 50 is way over his head in the fight game.
