Unfortunately that not how it works in boxing. Cotto should fight the best with those belts and you can't keep away from the no.1 and mandatory contender forever.

Cotto only happened to fight Martinez due to his star power. Even so, doing things his own way despite not being the champion yet. We all know how bad form that Martinez was. People were even saying Mayweather could've have beaten him that night at middlweight.

What can poor Golovkin do with his belt when people don't want to fight him. The lad wants to fight Froch at super middleweight whilst Ward is still doing tune ups.

Uh Mayweather never said that, do you actually have a source or do you make up quotes for your own convenience. Floyd praised Canelo and Cotto both, he respects Canelo a lot and same with Cotto. And how they did against Floyd doesn't determine whos better...Manny basically destroyed everyone that Floyd face except Marquez yet Floyd dismantled Manny with greater ease than Maidana so relax with the triangle theories.

I think Cotto gives Canelo hell but at the same time Canelo poses a huge threat to Cotto as well, he's got issues with guys that can punch and have speed, we know Cotto can be hit, and Canelo has power in both hands a long with speed and skill and he's got a seemingly big size advantage to deal with as well

No one else wants to get in the ring with Golovkin right now. Ndam and Quillin ducked him. Canelo and lemieux are not in the hurry to fight Golovkin. Whilst Cotto is his mandatory, this is something Golovkin can force him to get into ring with him. Winning those belts cotto holds would help other boxers to get into the ring with golovkin.

Deserve? He obviously not in hurry to face Golovkin. And Canelo fight is something he ended up missing last time round. Maybe he had his doubt facing Canelo at the time but he seem to picked up courage now that there another killer on the loose who happens to be his mandatory. Did I mentioned his name earlier in my post? Yeah I did. It was Golovkin.

canela is'nt rank in the mw division. thats why his scared asz fights at 155. he does'nt deserve a cotto fight. GGG who kills himself to make 160 needs to stop ducking ward
