Cotto gave Floyd a tough fight but he wasn't able to hurt Floyd with any of the flush left hooks he landed and Floyd fought Cotto completely differently than Canelo cuz he gave Canelo's speed and power much more respect than Cotto. He actually knew he could stay in the pocket longer and give and take a little bit to make the Cotto fight more exciting where as Canelo was trying to take his head off with everything but he kept missing cuz Floyd was too slick and fast.

And there was no white wash in that Canelo fight, Canelo was 23 and boxed with the best boxer in the world and I thought he still pulled off 4 rounds which is impressive and something important to take away from that fight even tho the strategy was ******. Where as Cotto got the fight he wanted from Floyd but only won 3 rounds imo

Floyd didn't give Canelo's speed and so-called power any respect at all....HE WALKED HIS AS.S DOWN.

those two clowns GGG and Canelo need to fight each other, their record is full of pathetic match-ups and opponents, at least Canelo has fought and lost against TBE and Lara...let those guys fight each other and let Cotto defend his title against some credible opponents like Kid Chocolate or Andy Lee, these two little hype jobs need to win against credible opponents not Macklin or Alfonso Gomez for crying out loud, it's crazy how much disrespect Cotto is getting from these people that call themselves 'boxing fans'.........i ain't even rican or a cotto fan

I think GGG and Canelo did more than Quillin and Lee did in their career thus far. Why should Quillin and Lee get to fight Cotto? And Canelo clearly mentioned that he will fight Golovkin in couple of years time.

As far as the article goes it's pretty surprising no one bothers to read the articles and go off the title.He was asked whether he had anything to prove to Canelo and GGG after their dominant victories, and obviously he shouldn't be concerned with what other fighters are doing and solely focused on his fight. Nor should he be concerned about looking dominant simply because the other guys got ko's.

Then give Golovkin a chance and prove he is not a "killa". Cotto is not helping himself by fighting a guy who got knocked out by a "killa" as a the official middleweight champion.
