Paulie is just being an analyst, but it just kind of shows that the verbiage of today's fight game is "does he need it?" Fighters fight, that's what they do. Part of their legacy was taking the fight, not necessarily winning it. Froch has a great legacy and for the most part is a greatly respected fighter. The only thing now is to do what he loves until he doesn't love it anymore

No one wants it vs GGG, props Froch for stepping up to the plate.

No, that was the case with Degale. Originally, when Degale was chasing Froch, he was George Groves' son, and nothing more..... Degale was even less than Froch was, back when he was chasing Calzaghe. At least Froch was undefeated.

Golovkin is over-rated, but he is a champion.

Things are obviously different now, Degale should be ahead of Golovkin.

Degale is a genuine SMW, and - after 1 fight - has a better win than Golovkin.

And, whilst we are on the subject..... Golovkin is real keen on facing the stylistically disadvantaged froch, but would Golovkin fight Degale?

I didn't read the article but you can't tell me a W wouldn't make Froch arguably the best SMW ever.

" Degale does not draw like Froch does. We would be interested in going to 168 for a money-fight with Froch, but Degale doesnt bring enough to the table ".

And it will be exactly the same for Ward/Dirrell/Degale..... or any other SMW with skills who can punch..... but the slower flat-footed guys like Chavez/Froch, no problem.

And a majority of the Golovkin fans will whole-heartedly support that.

Holy ****. Hadn't read that. I guess Chunky was right when he said Golovkin wouldn't fight him.

What? Ward already stomped on that ass. He'll likely do the same to GGG.

lol @ lumping Froch in with Chavez.

Froch is much more of a threat than Degale or Dirrell.

no no, I made that up

sorry man, I shouldn't have used quotes

                      I was just surmising.

In saying that, I see how they are with Ward, so I would just about bet my house that my cheeky comment is **** on the money. Golovkin is extremely well-managed, he would fight the slow flat-footed guys no problem.

Being well-managed is not necessarily a bad thing, but.....

                      At 168, Chavez/Froch..... no problem !

                      At 168, Ward/Degale/Dirrell..... no way !

                      I bet I'm right.

I am not insinuating for 1 second that Golovkin is a coward, scared, or any of that rubbish..... just that he is very well-managed.
