In the de la hoya fight, Ellerbe was telling Floyd how it was close but Floyd thought he was beating Oscar easy. Yet he still tried to load up with his right hand late on in that fight to score a knockdown or ko.

But despite Floyd sr saying how the PAC fight could be close, Floyd still ran and held and threw few punches.

IMO, Floyd knew the judges were biased towards him.

It was an easy fight to score.

Manny and his team should stick with the injury fantasy, they have a lot better chance of selling that than selling that they thought Manny won. They have to sell a 2nd fight to the public and no one is buying that it was a close fight, it wasn't. Most people aren't buying the injury either, but enough people might buy that it would have made it a slightly closer fight to make the possibility of a 2nd fight realistic.

Hope Arum is willing to give Mayweather a 90-10 split though, that's probably what it will take.
