Me and my 3 brothers are all Pacman fanatic fans. We all watched the fight together and all of us concluded before the winner was announce that Floyd won the fight. We were all upset but we have to give credit to the winner and accept that Manny lost hands down.

Freddie is 100% correcthe claims Pacquaio was robbed. He was robbed by the conspiracy between Mayweather, The NSAC & USADA. Pac informed the NSAC that he was injured but was prepared to go through with the fight if he could use Toderol to deaden the pain. Toderol is a LEGAL additive . NSAC agreed & so did USADA it was legal to use it. On fight night the did a 180 & denied him using it They also removed his vitamins he takes and even his WATER!!!!
On the other hand Mayweather was permitted to use ILLEGAL addditives to combat dehydration & his Xylocaine he uses for every fight which is ILLEGAL in most states
Did Mayweather tick the box his hands were injured???? Yeah Sure
The very fact a commissioner of the NSAC RESIGNED IMMEDIATELY in disgust & embarrassment over this injustice speaks volumes & to me proves NSAC corruption.
Add to this NO ONE will address the fact a commissioner resigned his position or try to justify his decision. I think he was tired of the CORRUPTION!!!! End of Story

The fight was close (because they didnt do a great deal) but mayweather edged most of the rounds to win.

I could only give 3 rounds to pac and I was trying my best to give rounds to him.

Maybe I should watch it again...... but I really dont want to.

Pac was very disappointing and mayweather did what I expected him to do.

Ya know, I think this was part of the problem. If Mayweather had thrown more combos or otherwise made his style more aggressive, everyone would be on Pac's nuts like 'Pac made him fight his kind of fight'. There is too much focus on how fighters fight compared to expectations and not enough objective analysis of the performance. I remember watching Morales vs Barrera 1 and the announcers rode Barreras balls because Morales was exchanging and 'fighting barerra's fight' instead of evaluating how Morales' style in that fight was or was not effective. [We can save the debate on who won this fight for another time, point was about the nature of the commentary]

I'd like to make clear that I believe Floyd won that fight. But I can't help but feel that Pac wasn't going to win on the cards unless he threw a bunch of flurries even though the few he did throw were substantially less successful at landing and at being effective than his counter punching was that night. No one really talked about the counter punching (either to say good or bad), they were fixated on how his style didn't match up with their preconceptions of how he should/would fight based on his previous fights.
