B-hop doesn't deserve to fight /w Tito

"When was the last time B-hop ever gave US the boxing fans/community a really ****ing good fight". The answer is simple, it was Tito.

Don't think too hard about this one boys. You want to see it, I want to see it, they want to see it. Hopkins-Tito II.

Tito will want this one too, cause he really wants to erase that one blemish from his otherwise stellar ring record.

But Tito will have to accept that the rematch with Hops is merely a payday, 'cause it sure won't be "redemption". He won't do to Hops what he did with Mayorga. Mayorga was made-to-order, and Hops ain't in that business.

It will be a thing of beauty to see Hops, again, show that Tito is a made-to-order Hopkins *****.

oh he has credability as a legit middleweight, but if he wants credability as an all time great then he needs to go after the guy who kicked his ass.

He cant just avoid Hopkins that would look very very bad

Does it make sense for tito to fight Hopkins say in Jan. or Feb.? Honestly I see the same result.

Maybe in another year or 2 I could forsee tito whooping the old man, but anytime within 1 year I see the same result.

Would he be an all-time great by beating a 40yr old man who never moved up in weight and decided it was easier fighting smaller guys and guys like Cherifi?

I guess in some people's minds it is...just not mine.

I dont see Tito beating hopkins anytime within 1 year. The only way tito can win is to beat hopkins at his own game. BE DIRTY! And i mean DIRTY! Elbows, lowblows, rabbit punches, kidney punches...someone has to TWIST tito's mind into that of a serial killer or ex-convict like hopkins. If tito comes out krazi like an "i dont giva fawk" fighter he has a chance within the first couple rounds to beat hopkins.

If only you could merge Mayorga's attitude/style with tito and I think he would have a chance.

You're honest to admit that Tito can't beat Hops anytime within 1 year, and that Tito can only win if Hops "gets old" within that time.

But, you seem to say that Hops just needs to be dirty to win, and so does Tito to beat Hops. Thats just wrong.

When Mayorga landed those bombs once, twice and three times on Tito, it looked very dramatic and a lot of lesser chins might have shattered. And when we look and the Hopkinms fight, we didn't see Hops doing that to Tito. Right? So, when Hops finally dropped Tito in the 12th, it must have been from all those low blows (like Tito on Mayorga), elbows, kidney shots and rabbit punches? I don't think so.

You do Mayorga a dishonor by saying that rabbit punches and low blows can beat Tito, but Mayorga's flush round-houses cannot. I guess Hopkins must have some real power in those rabbit punches! Also, in Tito-Hops' match there were no low-blows like that beauty that Tito landed on Mayorga.

Truth is, Hops is not so dirty. He's just very ****ing effective at hurting the other guy, namely Tito.

And, you must agree, if Tito comes out "krazi", he'll get his ass busted again 'cause Hopkins will simply KO him with a few of those "rabbit punches".

To summarize my previous post - Tito just needs to bring a different style/game plan to his rematch with Hopkins. Obviously whatever plan he had in his last match didn't work. Hell he should come into the ring like Jorge El Maromero Paez and have a dress or clown outfit on! Hell i dont know, but something needs to change in his rematch.

I meant no disrespect to Mayorga - damn this man is the essence of a true warrior, not worrier. Ever since I seen him take out 6heads I thought this guy was just a straight thug (tha's a compliment). Mayorga's dont come around a lot. He's unique.

I dont think I said the only way Mayorga could win was with rabbit punches and lowblows. But tito is going to need to pull something out his ass if he really thinks he can beat Hopkins. Hopkins is a bad man...jus look at his facial expression when he fights. That mug on his head isn't pretty.

i was wondering if felix sturm could match hopkins' power, maybe not. but it came to my mind when i though about who would end hopkins' dominance in the middleweight? maybe this kid from germany could give hopkins some problems considering that he's quicker and younger. what worries me is who would dare promote this fight?

tito don't want any part of hopkins, plain and simple. he avoided the question of rematch like the pleague in the post fight conference. they are probably waiting to fight hopkins in his last fight when his age catches up with him, so it will be easier for tito to fight the old man. then if tito were to beat up the old man, everyone would be saying tito's the best thing ever in boxing bla bla bla...
when the fact of the matter is that tito would get stomped again if they fight in the next year, maybe two. i think that tito would own DLH at 160lbs. no doubt, not hopkins.
tito needs hopkins, hopkins could cash in on tito though, but really hopkins doesn't need to give him a shot, i'm sure he would($$$$$). hopkins beat him flat out for twelve rounds and did it with ease, no controversy. and don't throw out that whole 9/11 crap that tito didn't train for a week.
1) even if he didn't train for a week it shouldn't have effected him! he is a professional isn't he??
2) your whole camp and fight goes down the drain in one week...c'mon!
3) why would he take the week off,( no trainning,or anything) before the biggest fight of his career, against the most dangerous fighter he's ever faced. he didn't, it's all just an excuse..
fighters stop sparring a week prior to the fight night, and just do conditioning work, your telling me he didn't even shadow box or jump rope or even do a ****ing push-up....sounds good!

hopkins would beat him again, probably 8 times out of 10....
also hopkins never fought cherifi...jag-offs!!! that was your boy tito beating up on that chump! before he quit!
