"I wanted Sergio but it was not a fight that appealed to my fans..." ~ Canelo

"GGG has a crap resume, me no fight him. Me fight his leftovers he Nocaut in tree rounds at 157, because me no real Middleweight."
So when asked about his champion status, Cotto fans only bring it up when convenient.
When it can be utilized to bash other fighters and lay claim to his greatness, he's a lineal middleweight champion whom earned it by facing a prime Martinez.
When others mention it as the main purpose behind GGG's intent to seal a fight then the tables flip, turn and change color because Cotto is not a real middle weight.. So which one is it Cotto fans? I'm quite confused.Comment

BTW this is what Cotto had to say about a Martinez fight around the same time frame…
"What other names are out there for me to make money against? Floyd, Manny and Antonio. You think Sergio Martinez will make me this kind of money?"

Sorry kids but Cotto actually fought Martinez.
It happened.
Any way you peasants spin it, THIS is the reality: You want Cotto to have fought both Sergio AND GGG while Canelo give youtube interviews about how his fans want him in exciting fights like Kirkland...
Shyt is transparent and sad.
