Bunch of petty teenage girls to wish failure on PBC, especially when DeGale/Dirrell is exactly the kind of fight they claim Haymon won't make.

War PBC! Thank you for a good fight between two talented fighters among the best in their weight class.

it's clear that boxing is an evening spectacle. if it's going to take place during daytime then stick it in an outdoor stadium

Dirrell is America's most hated fighter=Ratings Dip

Fans hate Dirrell both of them and their old gran pappy who lives off Clay's memories. Dirrells cannot sell a ticket anywhere they fight. Ratings Dip is because America hates Dirrell x two plus that senile 100 yr old plantation slave pappy.

Yup the combination of putting this fight on in the afternoon and headlining a card with Dirrell who doesn't have many fans and has never been a big draw was a mistake. And why in Boston? What connection does Dirrell have in Boston? The answer is he has no connection to Boston. This should of been on the undercard of a bigger event or should of been held overseas where DeGale is a bigger draw then Dirrell. This was made a main event fight just for Haymon to fill his quota of network fights. Which is part of the problem with PBC. Way over saturated. Too many cards on too many networks at too different many times. There were people on this site saying damn the fight already happened I missed it because I thought it was later tonight. Die hard boxing fans can't even keep up with all these shows and different times so how do you expect casual fans to keep up. Too many shows and not enough real main event quality fights for these shows. Dirrell should never be headlining a network fight card let alone in the afternoon.

You can't ****ing protect fighters and make the best fights possible at the same time! For his tremendous roster, Haymon makes very few good fights, and it doesn't help that a lot of his fighters are safety first, he needs to make the best matchups he can and quick before people make up their mind about PBC. Broner vs Porter is good but the catchweight sucks.

i agree with this completely. also consider how mediocre the matchups have been. also the production and commentating is just complete poop too.

PBC is bound to fail and i have said it since the very beginning. boxing will flourish after haymon and floyd leave the sport guaranteed. both of these guys are too money oriented rather than giving the fans what they want to see. they are all wrong for boxing.

Yeah, we have gotten more boxing on tv over the past 2 months as compared to the previous 6 months. Yeah, us as "boxing fans" should be very upset that we are getting so many fights on tv on a weekly basis. How dare Haymon do this to us.
