I'm not partial to either guy, just stating what I've seen people say here.
Im either reading your post wrong or you missed the video where Cotto says GGG hasnt fought any big names.

Yet GGG is drawing 10000000000000000000x better than Trout did or ever will.

Trout was a cherry pick gone wrong. Dude might make the same mistake twice with Geale

Lara beat Trout. So I suppose Cotto's ducking Lara too by your logic?

The GGG situation if he doesn't want to fight GGG just give up the WBC title and get the *** out if HIS DIVISION and GGG probably can just move on and fight somebody for that Vacant Title. Same with Canelo, if you fight for Cotto's WBC title, consider yourself a Middleweight and GGG is NEXT! Or your can drop the title and head back down to 154 if you don't want to fight GGG right now
most of the trout hype came after he defeated cotto to be fair, at that point he was the boogeyman of the division and was supposed to be avoided by floyd and canelo forever... at that point he had a bigger name than andrade has now... but good comparison, both tall, skilled and young undefeated champions at the time...

What's so confusing about cotto just lost to floyd and needed a comeback fight. Just so happened that trout was better than he thought. Are you gonna complain about him fighting delvin also which was after a loss?
