When he gets the lineal title people should call for him to move up. After a fight with Canelo perhaps.
Exactly how i feel. People need to stop thinking that the word "mandatory" means they are going to fight next. Povetkin and Wilder will probably be another example why it means nothing really

If he was a hype job wouldn't the guys he's fighting now expose him?
Would you be saying guys like Canelo and Cotto would expose him?

Let me explain something, hype jobs usually get exposed long before they fight the best fighters.

Victor Ortiz was a hype job.
Omar Chavez was a hype job.
Wilfredo Vasquez JR. was a hype job.
      Thomas Dulorme
      Mike Jones
      These guys are hype jobs.
Read very carefully as you clearly didnt before, i did not say he was a hypejob, i like him, like his style, his power etc. i was simply creating a discussion on wether he is overhyped or not on the facts presented before us like weak resume blah blah, since well forums are for discussion right?

He's going to get KOed vs an accurate power puncher, that is if he doesn't KO them first.

I like GGG, I just don't see what all the hype is about yet, he is a slow plodding middle weight who has accurate power. If he fights "real" threats his next 6 fights he will lose 2 or 3.
Yeah i really like him too, its hard to dislike a puncher like golov. Agree as well that the hype is not particuarly warranted right now but im saying i am 50/50 on what his career could be like, he can go one way or the other for me really.

GGG is the epitome of a hypejob. Any objective fan could see that this guy is just a limited, slow plodding ****er with terrible defence who arguably has yet to to fight a top 5 fighter in his own weight class. In spite of this some actually have him in the top 10 P4P rankings and compare him to greats of the past. I've even seen some who actually believe this guy could go up to LHW and beat Kovalev. GGG has the most delusional fanboys.

Again if he was all hype why does it take a top 5 fighter to beat him? Wouldn't he be exposed by average competition if he was an average fighter?

And the GGG/Kovalev talks stem from a sparring session they had where GGG dropped Kovalev.

Instead of fighting bums and having to look high and low for a worthy challenger he could fight Degale, maybe froch(huge fight), ward if he goes back to SMW(big fight), the SMW class is definitely alot more stacked and filled with a lot more money fights than MW, god badou jack and dirrell would be considered much more worthy of his resume than it is off current
He's trying to fight Froch currently and he's not been mandortory for that long, in terms of Cotto having a mandortary defence against ****ing geale!

It's widely known that Sergey admitted that GGG scares him in the ring and that GGG dropped Sergey.

Your failing to understand, hes branded as worldclass the meaning of "Hypejob" in GGGs terms is that he is good yes but not world class as the resume says. Hypejob doesnt just mean average fighter, broners a 2x world champion and hes considered a hypejob

Mandatory dont mean they will fight, cotto has been hiding from him for a bit now, i wouldnt hold your breath on being mandatory challenger making a difference, its well known cotto is one loss away from being finished and in his eyes hes looking for a few more paydays yet i think. But as someone previously stated he does need that belt so you never kmow

He's considered a hype job by who? The same people who consider GGG a hype job?
Broner might not be world class (just like GGG might not) but he's no hype job. If he was then it wouldnt have taken Maidana a top 10 division fighter to beat him. He would have lost long before and after to guys like Taylor, Molina, DeMarco, Rees, etc.
