Floyd will duck the rematch like the plague. This isn't the same bloated up with junk food without a conditioning coach Marquez that went up two entire divisions for his first fight at WW and still got cheated at the scales. He was slow, chubby, looked like absolute crap. This acclimated WW version of Marquez beats floyd up badly so expect floyd to duck the fight hard.

The peasant, always struggles with defeat. He will rage against the ref, his opponent and anyone within range. He simply cannot reconcile the pain he feels in his heart.

I am curious as to what the pueblo has to say. I know typically a blowout/masterclass like the one Floyd put on that flailing "counterpuncher," is written in stone and overrides any dreams of a rematch, according to the pueblo rules. I must say, I am curious as to what the pueblo will conjure up to justify their cry for a rematch.

Will it be: " Marquez was unable to contact Memo and went into that fight unprepared..."

"Floyd cheated by being too slick!"

"Floyd was a cruiserweight on fight night!"

"Marquez was winning...he just needed to land 200 more punches and he thought it was a 15 round fight.."

It will be something. The pueblo does not disappoint when it comes to "reasons..."

Acclimated huh? Is that anything like a guy taking a voluntary at MW prior to fighting the top gun?

You have been owned by the Pez. Don't fight it...It hurts more that way.

        "He wasn't readyyyyy!"

"Memo was away on vaction doe!"

"Marquez fights better when his chest is bumby doe!"

wow, I never expected something like this from JMM. after he KOd pac, the possibility of him fighting Floyd again were brought up. He wasn't interested saying Floyd proved who the better fighter was in 09, no need to rematch. This gotta be a publicity stunt.

Nope. Memo has him feeling like he is in his physical prime at 49. Memo even threw in the puberty for added conviction. Essentially, Marquez is 17 again.

Lol Marquez you would have a point if you would've actually landed any punches. I don't remember you winning any rounds to be honest. I would rather see Mayweather v Pacquiao 2 than Mayweather v Marquez 2 bcuz that was a total mismatch.

I'd imagine it's difficuly for an elite athlete to simply admit a colleague is simply better than you. As much as the weight issue was bs and unprofessional on Floyds part, it had no effect on the outcome. Floyd would beat Marquez at any point in their careers much more so now which would make a rematch a waste of time.

I would prefer Marquez make one last attempt at the WW title against Brook. He would still be a heavy underdog imo.

It's what they in the pueblo. Deflect, rage against the ref ala Chavez V Steele, and justify their loss in effort to control the pain.

"Richard Steel es un Fck you!" ~ Julio Cesar Chavez sr.

No Julio, it was Frankie Randall who punched you, NOT Richard Steele.
