            Wouldn't have mind seeing the Mayweather rematch since Marquez is now "settled" at 147 whereas when he first fought Floyd he had to jump up 2 weight divisions, didn't look in his best physical condition & had no experience at the weight. BUT, with this reoccurring knee injury which sounds like its not going to heal, he'll still be physically compromised like when he first fought Floyd so there's no point.

            And we know Beristain already ducked Khan so that fight's not going to happen.

                Juan Manuel Marquez's last objective is a world championship at 147; no other fight is worth it as a last bought (unless he somehow can get Pacquiao to fight him in Mexico City).

                Knowing that, the options going forward are pretty simple: vs Kell Brook(c) in the Summer at a stadium, vs Jessie Vargas (assuming he beats Bradley for that vacant WBO belt), or retirement.

                The man's got one fight left, if that

                  Exactly right. He had a golden opportunity to end on the highest note possible for him. I'm a huge fan but he's old and worn at this point. He loses to anyone decent and its pointless to just fight some no hoper.

                      Marquez looks to have one more fight

                      All I can say is this man is one of the greatest counter punchers the sweet science and what makes his counter punching special is he does it without much speed all in his timing. Salute ***128150;***128150;
