I can believe it. There were some times where Floyd Sr. was at odds with his son. He said De La Hoya beat Jr. right in the ring after the fight. He also told Oscar that he wants his son to lose to learn some humility.
I could see him 5-6 years ago telling Khan he could beat Floyd, probably trying to be his trainer at the time.
