  • Comments Thread For: Martin Murray: Golovkin Would Beat Froch and DeGale

Middleweight contender Martin Murray, who plans to move up to the super middleweight division, does not pick either of his countrymen to defeat IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, who may move up to 168-pounds for a major fight.

One possible opponent in discussions right now is former super middleweight champion Carl Froch. The other is James DeGale, who capture the IBF title this past Saturday night with a twelve round unanimous decision victory over Andre Dirrell.

Murray faced Golovkin back in February. The big ****er broke Murray down over eleven rounds and handed the British boxer his first stoppage defeat.

I'm please that Martin Murray addressed this issue as both Froch and DeGale have as of late made rather bold statements concerning GGG. Naturally, when Froch and DeGale speak, I'd expect them to be confident in their ability, but as they have taken it to the level of trash talk, both Froch and DeGale need to take heed of what Murray has said and get back to reality.

What have Degale or Froch said that was trash talk? Both have said GGG is a monster, but they just fancy the job. How is that trash talk?

I don't think they'd be listening to a B- level fighter anyway. They would both beat Murray a lot easier than GGG did.

Murray, one of the very few fighters who doesn't speak through places of insecurity after a loss. Good to see there's a few people in this sport not suffering from a personality disorder.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if Murray is the opponent when DeGale defends his belt. Martin has thrown GGG into the conversation and Hearn could use the comparison angle to try and sell the fight, DeGale given the chance to improve on Golovkin's 11th round stoppage of Murray. Wouldn't be much of a fight to watch imo, a full distance snooze fest, but I could see Hearn hyping it like mad.

Degale beats the **** out of him, Froch would put him in hospital.

                  Only before fights

"I don't know if I'm going to win like but i'll give it me best shot"

Shut up you bum, no one cares. Froch and DeGale actually have confidence in winning whrereas you showed up to see how long you could survive.

Murray doesn't need to pretend to be something he's not in order to get into the ring. No chest thumping, self deluded projections of grandeur in embarrassing, childish outbursts. He's now called a bum by internet tough guys who nuthug said fighters of false bravado, just because he lost to GGG. Predictable but pathetic as always.
