Ward, Froch and JMM shouldn't be on anyone's list anymore. They haven't fought in over a year. And JMM shouldn't be on there anyway even if he fought yesterday.

One thing I will say about UFC is they understand a loss happens. For some reason, if boxing if you lost the younger guys with the worse resume will always be considered "better."

LOL, mines kinda based on merit. Hence why I've got Danny on my list. Once Froch announces his retirement then that frees up space for GGG or Loma depending on how he does vs Walters. Apart from the L to Floyd, Canelo's been on a decent streak. On paper Lara, Trout & Kirkland fare better than Geale, Macklin and Monroe.

I had money on Lara, wanted him to win and I thought he clearly lost. He just didn't do enough. Too many rounds where he would throw a nice 1-2, then retreat and not throw another punch for the next minute. Gotta blame Lara there for not letting his hands go more.
One of the other judges had a corrupt scorecard (Levi Martinez) skewed completely towards Canelo. You'll not find anyone who watched that fight who gave Canelo 10 rounds. He wasn't doing anything for 8 of them!

Lara was controlling the pace of the fight with effective jabs and movement. Canelo connected more especially to the body but was plodding around the ring ala Angulo.

I'll accept a draw MAYBE, due to the punch stats, but Canelo should not have taken that W.

As such, were that fight to have been scored fairly, Canelo in no way belongs on any P4P list.

I think canelo is a little more proven vs Elite fighters then Golovkin and Crawford.
