E-Rod slaps the brakes off Adonis until he catches one of those VoodooLeftHands and is zombiefied.

Edwin would of made a good baseball pitcher with the way he slings his punches to bad it's too late to change sports.

I think Rodriguez is a pretty tough customer though, I think that would be a decent scrap. Stevenson is obviously the favorite because he can throw straight and can crack, but by that same token Rogriguez's looping shots will still find their mark against Stevenson. Just that usually ends very badly in an exchange for the guy throwing looping shots.

It'll possibly look like the Bika fight just Edwin is younger so he would have more of a workrate doubt he has as good of a chin.

Actually not a bad fight but would like to see Edwin vs Fonfara, Beterbiev or Eleider Alvarez to earn that shot. PBC have a lot of good Light Heavyweights to match up with each other!

Because Ward wouldn't be interested in a rematch. What's Ward to Gain? Also the outcome would be the same. Edwin is a good fighter but he has nothing in his arsenal that would get him a victory over Ward.

But it would get two dull, boring fights out of the way at the same time.

And what has Ward to gain by fighting Smith and most likely the equally fantastic TBD in his next tune up fight?

I strongly doubt they'll put Alvarez and Beterbiev in with Stevenson. They might match him with Alvarez because Alvarez is slowly working himself up to that WBC no.1 spot he's currently no.3 and they won't fight him unless he's mandatory. GYM doesn't exactly have a large stable of fighters. GYM's dream would be to have Beterbiev beat Kovalev and then have him fight Stevenson so they can hold all the titles like the Klitchko's did.

They won't just 'sacrifice' one of their prospects unless they see major decline in Stevenson or if they can unify all the belts.

Expect Stevenson to fight against guys like Rodriguez and Fonfara instead.
