if im not mistaken, some of garcias fighters had problems on the scale... i dont see how this is going to help julio, but to be fair i dont see any trainer helping julio at all..

Junior could have been trained by Eddie Futch, Gil Glancy, Angelo Dundee, Manny Steward or any of the other great trainers and he would still be what he is. And that is an average fighter that has ridden his fathers coattails for way to long.

call me crazy but all goosen fighters have been going downhill lately unless im forgetting someone. no doubt tho garcia is the right trainer for chavez he wont put up with the bs and will tell him like it is

He's rich and spoiled. He doesn't take advice from anyone and changes trainers at will. Of course he's never going to make it.

Even if he had his father's desire to succed, he would still be a B level fighter, at best.
