Rate these boxers' careers, 1-10 (10 being an ATG)
...and then rate the potential, (1-10) of what they could have been if it weren't for x, y and z.
Of course, you can just enter your rating and not spend time with lengthy explanations.
Example: Oscar de la Hoya
Career: 7
Potential: 9
I always thought Oscar had the potential to be a greater fighter then what he ended up being. It seemed to me he would tense up during fights, maybe some sort of anxiety disorder that made him exhaust so much energy that he'd tire late in fights. He never learned how to control that.
Also, I remember before the first Mosley fight, he recorded an album, soon after he started Golden Boy Promotions. From 2000 forward, he to me, was a part-time fighter. If he didn't have so many distractions outside the ring, maybe he would have had better performances, better fights, better wins.
