The judge who scored it 117-109 should be banned from judging. One of the worst cards of the year!
I agree with everything except Dirrell winning the 11th. That 117-109 card was disgusting, that guy should hang it up.

What a fight. I had it 114-12 for Chunky, he gave away all the middle rounds, I thought he was gonna throw it away, but he turned up to the championship rounds.

      Congratz to the boy. Gooooooner!

It was close, i thought DeGale edged it.

I think he will look much better against other fights. It's very hard to look impressive against Dirrell. Although they're completely different fighters, he has that Bika thing where you can beat him, but you wont look too impressive doing it.

That's exactly how I saw it. Dirrell should have been more aggressive in those last two rounds.

Good fight, close fight. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.

But for now cong**** to Degale. First Brit gold medalist to become a world champion.

Why wouldn't he? Sakio Bika won multiple rounds, DeGale can fight on the inside and Ward can't crack.

even if your a degale fan, dirrell was the better boxer over the 12 rounds whether he won or not, he showed degales limitations.

this, degale didn't do much in the second half but the 2 KDs and winning the last 2 rounds sealed the deal. people complaining about wide scorecards, lol when is not an american getting it is a robbery. but i agree, the one card that gave degale 117 was really bad

Good victory for DeGale. I hope he challenges Ward in the near future.
