It won't be in Russia. Povetkin has to come to the champion's yard, the U.S.

It's going to be a war where both men will be challenged to the highest degree. No clinching or fouling. Both of these guys are true warriors.

Right. If it goes to purse bid the winner gets control of the date, place, all aspects of the promotion.

Wlad was the champion and fought in Russia because Povetkin's backers won the bid.

He got paid a lot for it too.

Weren't some of the same people who are now rooting for Povetkin saying something not too long ago about the "era of short heavyweights" was over, and now they're saying a 6'1" is the best heavyweight in the division.

Anyway, I'm just excited about this fight. Povetkin's KO 1 is perfect for hyping it up even more. Now we just need a KO 1 from Wilder and their clash will go through the roof in ratings.

Povetkin KOd Perez, what!? Wow! Honestly i havent been paying too much attention to the HW div but from what ive seen from Perez, i put him ahead of the rest of the contenders in terms of skill. Definately speaks volumes of Povetkin and how hes bouncing back, Wilder better watch out.

Wilder could never box with, or survive Povetkin, or hurt Povetkin...

          Not under any circumstances!

He doesn't even have enough power to stop iron chinned Povetkin, even by punchers chance!

It's utterly unbelievable what the Bum Squad writes in here!

It was a sweet ko but in fairness, Perez didn't even look mentally there to me.

Literally the first right hand he got hit with wobbled him big time.

As if Wilder EARNED his title anyway?

He fought nobody, won it from a sick man, who never should have had the title in the first place!!

When Vitali retired, the title should have been fought for between Wlad and Stiverne and Wlad would now be the unified champ, with Wilder being ranked at the bottom end of the top 10 well below Fury, Wlad, Povetkin, Pulev and even guys like Takam and Arreola!

It is only through corruption that 2 Americans like Stiverne and Arreola were evben ALLOWED to fight for the free title at the exclusion of Wladimir or other Euro-fighter in the first place!!

The WBC is now effectively for the time being, no longer a WORLD title anymore, until it is defended against WORLD boxers like Povetkin or Klitschko, which has almost no chance of success.

Need fighters to do more of this...Stop Right Up! No BS, no "I Have To Talk To My Promoter" or any of that stuff! Destroy Molina and take on Povetkin.

                Good Heavyweight Match Up!

Povetkin's backers will easily win this purse bid like they did for the Klitschko fight. This fight would be in Moscow. Will wilder take it?
