How you conduct yourself as an individual will trump how people perceive you based on your race. Ali antagonized fans with his talk all the time, but he also carried himself with dignity & respect and ultimately people of all races across the country & world respected and admired him. Floyd acts like a punk. Outside his ability to win in the ring, there's nothing to admire because he behaves like a spoiled child.
Look at Andre Ward. Devout Christian and family man, classy, well spoken and professional. Yet he gets vile things said about him on this forum almost daily. American fans even booed him when Max Kellerman brought up his name as a possible GGG opponent during the post fight interview last week.
It's an uphill battle for a black man to get any love or respect in the USA no matter what he does or how he behaves. It is what it is.Comment

I don't know what race you are, but if you are anything other than white, you are complete moron. Black people fight usually benefit all the other non-white races, but they always sit on the sideline criticize blacks but ready to share in the black man's victory. All the racial changes to US constitution blacks fought for and every other non-white race benefit. If you guys are too weak fight then sit your @ss down and shut up, we will make sure you are ok afterwards.
Most minority groups in America are from countries that America went to war with and the people fought back. They actually took up arms against the "white devils" and spilled blood on both sides. It wasn't really about protesting and rallies, but was actual war.
That being said, it is safe to say that all oppressed people fought for the benefit of their own, but ultimately contributed their own unique message to the white powers that they wouldn't go down without a fight or in some cases, rallies and protest.
Based on your logic that blacks deserve the credit for racial equality in America, then certainly you must agree that blacks felt empowered to protest because they knew the white power was aware that non-whites such as the Mexicans and Asians were capable of going to war and fighting back and surely this must have made the white man wary that if other minority groups were willing to go to actual war, there was a good possibility that black people might actually fight back too.Last edited by ReIoaded; 05-23-2015, 12:52 PM.Comment

Every fighter gets vile things said about them on this forum. It's ***ing Boxingscene. Carl Froch has literally fought everyone in his division and all I see in his latest threads are about how he should *** off and retire.Comment

Show me where people are talking about Andre Ward for being black, and not being a boring, entitled, inactive boxer.
Show me.Comment

Took a while for people to warm to Naz, Eubank and certainly Lennox Lewis
You're like suddenly the most prolific poster on the site after the Mayweather-Pacquaio fight finished. I see your ass everywhere now but before you were barely posting on this account?
Too busy rioting or were being your Inkayamba alter-ego? I don't really care though, just pointing it out.Comment

Nate cam is the prime example of a black person crying about everything. A
Black fighter is full of himself and is rude and disrespectful (Floyd and Broner) an are made villains and he blames the white people for creating it not even looking at home they make themselves out to be.
Tyson was a convicted rapist, a bad boy by admission, and Holyfield was a very spiritual individual so a blind man could see that one.
I'm tired of black men like Campbell crying about sh it when
He, Floyd, Broner and countless other black men are
Fawking racist too, but it's ok for them to be? These fools give black
Men like Ward, as others a bad name.Comment

Has Floyd Mayweather done some bad things in his life? Definitely and it's not all an act but he has certainly turned up the speakers to specifically make fans hate him.
I'm not using it to justify anything. I'm just saying I don't get why fans complain about "haters" or "racism" when Floyd Mayweather deliberately pushes those buttons himself.Comment
