Roy seems to think Cotto would do better possibly, I don't know if I think that's the case. Canelo is bigger and I think he can take a better punch, but he sits in the ropes more than Cotto ever did, that's bad news. Both get KO'd it doesn't really matter.
That was exactly my take on the article. Interesting...
I can see GGG beating both but Canelo poses a bigger threat to GGG than he thinks. His will to win and style works in favor of both fighters. Canelo likes someone that comes to him and trades and GGG likewise. I could see it being candidate for fight of the year.
GGG against Cotto represents Cotto's worse nightmare I think. The second coming of Margarito. Tons of smart pressure, cuts off the ring, and has more pop than Margarito. Cotto's only hope would be to move nonstop for 12 rds I think in a similar manner he did against Margarito but ultimately I don't think he'll last doing that for 12. I could see GGG getting the stoppage on Cotto.
GGG is beast, but seeing the marks the pillow puncher put down on GGG in his recent fight shows he can be damaged/hurt by a puncher and someone that sits down on his shots. Canelo can easily exploit this because he has fast hands loaded with pop. GGG's chin would surely be tested in this fight, likewise to Canelo though.
If Canelo won though, he'd already have a crazy caliber win on his record at such a young age. That's what Legends are made of.
GGG beats both ... cotta poses zero threat to Golovkin and would be an easy night's work ...canelo has a chance against him but I would strongly favor GGG
