I'd become a fan of that boxer.

I rather watch this than may - pac 2..

Nothing better than a boxer bringing all his confidence into training camp and fight it will make for a great fight.

Daaayum, the hype train is real on Gonzalez.

I enjoyed watching Gonzalez destruction of Edgar Sosa but cmon, Sosa was a faded champion just as much as Segura is. If you think he'll blast Segura, it's because Segura isn't much different than Sosa at this point.

I'm not sold yet on Gonzalez but he's got a fun style to watch so I'll definitely try to catch all his fights from here forward.

Let's remember, HBO is THIRSTY for new fighters. They need fresh faces, so they gonna be pulling fighters from all over the world and hyping them up the wazoo in anticipation of Pac retirement.

I think Canelo is all they got at the moment with the huge fan following that can draw gargantuan PPV numbers when matched with an equally impressive fighter.

Very true. Just as old faded Sosa could have been a better test for Roman had the fight happened 6 years ago, is exactly the same with Segura. Giovanni best years stopped around 2011 and since then he has looked mediocre and lost against Viloria, Estrada and even Sosa. Segura is now 33 yrs. old and there is no way he could go back now. Names as Casimero, Ioka, Viloria, Estrada should be better challenges for Gonzales.
