    I'm not a Thurman fan. Wanted Chaves to beat him. But this is nonsense. Not that the fight is anyway good, but using it to justify Khan's terrible opposition since he was KO'd for the second time is bull****.

    Khan is a B level fighter on his best night. But I'm sure someone will point out how good he looked against Devon" all I do is grunt at you" Alexander.

    I will be so disappointed if he gets the Floyd/Manny fight, He has done nothing to deserve it. Brook should be first in line.

      i think hes doing it as a comparison to show how much better he can defeat mutual opponents of khan and mayweather.

        He gets one decent win in his whole career and now he deserves Mayweather?

          I know that in this forum everybody gets instantly crucified if he fights a lesser opponent than he fought before but think a little before you post.
          More credible opponents in his weightclass:
          Maidana --> overweight, fights nobody till the end of the year
          Porter --> moves downs to 144 fights Broner
          Khan --> fights Algieri
          Brook --> fights Gavin
          Floyd -->won't fight him in September, and if there would be a chance for it Thurman would go for it either for the money or for the glory or for both.
          Guerrero --> Thurman already beat him
          Pac --> injured, and with TR so fight isn't realistic
          Rios -->he's with TR too.
          Bradley --> with TR, fights Jessie Vargas

          So the question is dear Salim Shandy: Do you really want to crucify Thurman because he fights Collazo?
          And please don't come wit Devon Alexander. That's just a stretch to say something. It's a bluff. The current form of Alexander is shot as ****, you know that too he wouldn't pose much more threat to Thurman than Collazo right now... Guerrero and Diego Chavez were both tougher opponents for Thurman than this washed up Devon.

          Think a little before you post or especially before you make threads please!

              Why not rematch Chaves? Chaves has called for it...

                Difference between Khan, Brook and Thurman that

                Khan had options from top 10 like: Thurman, Guerrero, Porter, Brook and he ended up fighting Chris Algieri

                Brook had options from top 10 like: Thurman, Guerrero, Rios, Bradley and he ended up fighting Frankie Gavin

                Thurman had options like: -------

                  Because it's pointless? Thurman beat him fairly easily first time.

How does that work? Keith one time has an average resume, even though he has potential he needs to simmer down cause he's unproven as hell. "No one wants to fight me"... Then he turns down Alexander after Devon agreed to fight him.

                    Watch out next year, someone like Matthysse will just move up and make him sleep.

                    Why are people acting like if Khan, Brook or Mayweather offered him the fight that he wouldn't sign on the dotted line immediately?

                    First top 10 guy who agreed to fight him, he dropped him and did a better job on him than Mayweather despite having a horrible hematoma caused by a head clash.

                    The guys he is fighting are the only people who will agree to fight him. The rest either don't want to face the power or their promoters won't risk them.

                    Also Matthysse isn't moving up, and if he did he wouldn't be fighting Thurman, I wouldn't pick him to win either. Thurman would take that Matthysse fight, he has been steady calling out Maidana to no avail. Chaves is signed with Top Rank now so a rematch of that bout isn't do-able and let's not forget Thurman bodied him.

                    Give Thurman credit where it's due, he's not your typical Haymon fighter who bows to Al and doesn't ask for the big fights. If other people don't want to fight him what's he supposed to do?

                      Thurman can come out and say whatever he likes, but he only fights who his daddy (Al Haymon) tells him to.
