Trainer Dave Coldwell is hopeful Tony Bellew will get the chance to fight for a world cruiserweight title before the year is out.
The cruiserweight, who has not fought since November when he defeated arch-rival Nathan Cleverly, will return to action on June 26 at the Echo Arena alongside fellow Liverpudlians Callum Smith, Rocky Fielding and David Price, live on Sky Sports.
Bellew's opponent is yet to be announced but Coldwell revealed that plans are already underway to secure the 32-year-old a world title shot, providing there are no mishaps in Liverpool next month.
