floyd after castillo "first of all, no excuses, but i hurt my rotator cuff"
bradley after pacquiao "no excuses guys, but i hurt my leg"
who cares if pacquiao brings up his injury, floyd literally announces that he won with an injury after every fight it seems
every single pac thread ^^^^^^ ... show me one thread with Pac in the title that's more than 10 pages long that doesn't have Floyd's name on the first page and I'll paypal whoever finds it $50*
The hint? How about going to doctors, informing USADA about pain killers, wanting pain killer for the fight, doctors acknowledging, surgery?
All after he lost. Nobody cares to hear this after the damage is already done. If he was that hurt leading up to the fight he should have postponed it. There was an injury clause in the deal.
First, of all are trying to forward your US exceptionalism saying that Peruvian scorecards are inferior? Second I also gave a Colombian and Dominican example so please mention that also. These are only three examples I am sure there are many many more in Europe country by country. I don't have all day to look at others I happened to come across these three examples. Second, race plays an important role in American society and I think that I make a valid point. Look all I am saying is that it was a closer fight and if you move away from the US angle and look at the fight globally you see a clearer and fairer representation of the fight. IT WAS A CLOSE FIGHT. The way I see it is a domino effect and the masses follow: Showtime broadcasters viewed the fight as a one sided affair so the media follows this narrative (ESPN, Yahoo, Sports Illustrated etc. CNN etc.) because they do not want to question its legitimacy. Why should a journalist question the spectacle? Put his job on the line? You think Rafael is going to give up his house in ******ia and the endless coupons to the Chinese buffet line. NO WAY! So this narrative catches steam and it captures the popular imagination of the masses. But what you fail to understand is that it took the paying off of two men : Roy Jones and the biased Sky broadcasters to full off the illusion that Floyd won. Arum could have participated in this imagined illusion of Mayweather's greatness against Pacman by reversing the tide and paying off the commentators but he chose not to. After the consensus is formed and Floyd is deemed the winner in a fabulous display of boxing and "whooping" Pacman we are now in the midst of greatness but it's all an illusion. You my friend are used instrumentally to disseminate the illusion that Floyd whooped the Pacman completing the designed plan from above Haymon (most likely those controlling Haymon). You my friend and others are the last piece of the puzzle (the masses) to disseminate the lie and make Floyd richer but really those behind Floyd really richer. The sad part is you really don't gain much from defending the illusion but if you wake up and question it using your own analytics and go beyond the design that was set which you so obviously fell right into.
Wow bro. Im not bored enough to read that nonsense. I stop probably after what should have been the first paragraph. Respect to those who read that epic novel this guy wrote.
Can somebody give the a break down of his main points?

What? Only the surgery was after. Everything else was before. Even sparring partners admitted to what happened. Remember that it was broadcasted on this site that Manny was not sparring for like a week or so. I remember saying that its not good news because the only reason for that has to be an injury. Well, it was. USADA was informed when? BEFORE. Commission new late but still found out about it BEFORE.
Taking into account the 2 fighters age, with surgery, rehab, and all, there was a possibility that this opportunity would have been lost forever. It took 6 years to make this one. So I'm sure that and more was going thru Manny and his team's mind.
Roy Jones even said all this. Manny was put in a tough situation.
From what has been said, they thought that with some rest and pain killers, the injury or at least the pain can be controlled to the point that the fight can go on. As you know, they were not allowed to use the pain killers due to that check box. Perhaps if Manny knew this, it would have been postponed.

There was an injury clause written in the deal just for that. Too bad they wanted the money grab more than an actual win. I can't blame them.
That Matt guy is spot on. Even if Floyd did win that fight, for the media and various in the know, like RJJ, to infer it was a domination, tells you something is just not right. RJJ is the one that really gets me. This guy cannot be fooled. And for him to utter such nonsense of Floyd meeting Pacquiao in the center of the ring screams $$$$$$$$$$$$. The "mass" that is buying into this are just the folks on these boards and the media. If you talk to a regular joe about that they saw, it was simple: Floyd ran and Pacquiao couldn't catch him. And when he did, he was bear-hugged. So who won? Nobody did anything, so who cares!
son, no matter how much times you replay the fight the outcome is NOT going to change
I'm not after the outcome daddy, the important thing is the video itself clearly shows floyd got outclassed and outlanded round after round by pacquiao with all the bias commentators praising floyd while hitting pac's gloves and silent when pacquiao connects.. The fake win of floyd is all yours daddy, we got the video

It is what it is. They took the gamble. They thought Manny can still do enough to win but as said, expected to use pain killers. Once they knew they wouldn't be allowed, no way was that fight getting postponed.
and yes, that money was too good to refuse. I can't blame them for that part either.
