but isn't lee currently injured, anyway?
Because they only paid Golovkin $750k. With Golovkin's number now at $1.5m (was apparently what was paid to Golovkin for the Monroe fight), I have no doubt that the opponent budget has likely gone down, significantly.

Yes, Andy Lee is currently injured. Still, when he heals up, Lee-Saunders is a stadium fight in Ireland, with Lee-Eubank Jr possibly being a stadium fight in Britain, both fights bring massive gates over there.

Lee-Golovkin, even in Ireland, brings nowhere near as much money as the domestic fights, with a sincere doubt in the HBO money so offsetting the money likely available from Warren to make up for the losses at the gate.

With Andy Lee being promoted by Lou Dibella, whatever PBC/Showtime money that comes available is likely just extra revenue for the fight (primetime PPV in the UK coincides pretty seamlessly with the Saturday afternoon telecasts on NBC/CBS or an afternoon telecast on Showtime.

Jacobs has KO power and has the fastest hands at 160.
GGG's defense has more holes than a Texas oil field...plus he gets tired.

I give Jacobs the best chance at beating Golovkin than anybody at 160.

Sure he got Ko'd...but so has Cotto...Lee...and Lemieux..
Jacobs gets tired (see Fletcher fight) and he has questionable punch resistance. He gets stopped in under 5, he's not built for Golovkin.

Lemieux represents the toughest challenge with his power, N'Dam might be the best mover Golovkin will have faced.
