WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs) wants to unify the entire division before making a decision to move up in weight. Last Saturday night at The Forum in Los Angeles, Golovkin retained his belts with a TKO of Willie Monroe in six rounds.

Golovkin also holds the WBC interim-middleweight, which makes him the mandatory challenger to WBC full champion Miguel Cotto.

Cotto defends his belt against Daniel Geale on June 6th at Barclays in New York City. The Puerto Rican star is the number one target on Golovkin's hit list.

Very interesting. Cotto beats Geale and then fights Canelo. GGG fights Lee for WBA/WBO unification. Cotto/Canelo winner then fights GGG for WBC/Ring/WBA/WBO titles. Someone is gonna come out as the Unified Middleweight Champion.

Tell us something we dont know. I like GGG but ikinda find that hard to believe that NO ONE will step up. Either his handlers are not making offers to the other title holders outside of Cotto or HBO wont put the money. I mean how long have they been saying this? And they only have one major title? And im not talking about the IBO. So we have the WBC, WBO, & the IBF. I have a hard time believing that Lee wouldnt fight GGG and im pretty sure Ndam or Lemiuex have the cajones to fight him also. If Lemiuex wins i doubt Oscar wants to make that fight tho as he trying to build Lemiuex into a brand..so hopefully Ndam wins that fight. As for Cotto, keep pressuring and force him to vacate(canelo-cotto is just as big without the title). As for Lee, make an offer im sure he'll oblige. GGG needs to focus on 160 and unifying, if that is indeed what he wants. If Monroe will fight him im sure there are tip guys at MW will also.

HBO need to put the money up, like Haymon did for Lee to come fight Petie Quackllin. It really is that simple. If you think Lemiuex is gonna be goaded into these fights easily without having had the money put up either, you are either A, dumb and/or B, an idiot.
