Very, very tenuously. Why stop at just three if you're speculating so wildly?

Well if De Gale beats him it will make it 1-1 then as you're fully aware we have a rubber match to end it all. We could have a Robinson vs Lamotta saga if you want 4,5,6? One things for sure none of those fights will be held at a venue as prestigious as Wembley. I understand the point you're trying to make BTW.

Yeah, not trying to make a point, just making one. 2 comes after 1. Simples, yeah? Maybe there's 3, 4, 5 in the future. Maybe 20+. BUT Groves seemed quite reluctant to take #2 for more money than he's ever made previously, so talking about a trilogy is very premature.

As I said I understand the point you're trying to make. James went down the IBF route and George down the WBC route. Fact. Source for Groves turning down more money?

Is it very premature me talking about a trilogy? Yes 100% fact. It's the dreamer in me.

It doesn't really matter which route they went down. If Groves beat DeGale in #2 he'd get a title shot after.... with a lot of money in his pocket.

Don't worry, you won't be the only one if he wins on Saturday.
