Damn it. I was hoping we'd finally be rid of Atlas.

I guess he's like a stain on the carpet. You have to put that work in scrubbing, but don't forget the club soda! If you don't use the club soda, then you'll never get rid of it and the right hand will come over the top!

FNF fell off. It used to showcase great prospects.

Now it's just bar brawls with a few gems mixed in here and there.

This should improve the quality of ESPN cards.

If he's working for Haymon now as these people are saying. Then he has no integrity left either.

I don't give a **** what anyone says Teddy might be the most entertaining sports announcer, because you only get what he does in one place and it is glorious.
any 'bull vs matador' matchups that end up on ESPN/ABC will have Teddy talking about 'having to walk through a bad neighborhood'; only difference is that now , instead of making such a call during a 15-0 prospect versus 19-14 trialhorse bout, he'll get to use the analogy during fights like Bundrage(c) vs Charlo for the IBF world heavyweight championship.

depends on where and with whom they're plugged in. Banner Promotions (Boxcino) and Gary Shaw are probably in a rough spot; aligning yourself with HBO, while they've yet to align with you, is tough dice.

The vast majority of the cards put on FNF for the last few years were promoted by Goosen/Warriors/Dibella/Sampson/etc, most of whom are plugged in to the PBC universe anyway; may miss out on some actual TV dates, but the PBC shows have been featuring 7-12 bout fight cards, so they'll still likely be getting fights.

Al Haymon wins again. No more Teddy Atlas in your living rooms on Friday night.

"Although PBC on ESPN means the end of "Friday Night Fights" after a 17-year run, blow-by-blow announcer Joe Tessitore and analyst Teddy Atlas, both ringside fixtures, will continue in their roles on the PBC cards. Additional on-air commentators will be announced at a later date."

                From the same article.

Not true. He is a self serving ego maniac.

The least Haymon could have done is fire him. Tessitore and the Latino guy blow too.

What are they supposed to do when HBO takes their caliber type fights from them(ggg-monroe) & puts them on Saturday nights, thus leaving them with nothing?
