I think GGG is a better boxer than he shows in the ring because he has a power advantage and he likes to fight in a crowd pleasing manner. Against a bigger and stronger opponent like Froch I think we will see GGG box and move a little more in the early rounds. He will be more patient and disciplined.

First half of the fight will be more technical than expected and GGG will turn it on in the second half of the fight as Froch tires. If there's a stoppage it will be very late in the fight but overall I see GGG winning a competitive UD 8 rounds to 4.

Yes, can't rememer who but it was a well known reporter on Twitter. Can't remember if it was Steve Kim, Michael Woods or Kevin Iole.

Unless Froch's age catches up with him I pick him on a decision. He will get Golovkin's respect with his punches and is smarter in the ring than most give him credit. Also he has the great chin.

Yeah, well I remember the same being said about Arthur Abraham when he first came up. Strong as a bull, could punch your lights out with one punch. He might not have had the skills GGG has, I mean he definitely hasn't , but Abraham could probably punch harder I would say.

Regardless, Froch has 5" in reach on GGG and 2-3 inches in height. He is a bigger, stronger man. He punches you, it hurts. He's not Martin Murray or any of those average guys GGG has faced recently. A stinging Froch jab was enough to hurt and keep world champions like Kessler and Abraham away, I'm just not sure GGG has fought the caliber of opponent where I'm sure he'd be able to get away from Froch's punches.

But hey, I'm a fan of GGG. He's my type of fighter. Exactly like Carl Froch. Give you your money's worth. And he's obviously got a solid chin, doesn't take a step back and doesn't *** around. Like Froch.

Which is what makes me wanna see this fight. But if someone puts on a clinic for 12 rounds, I could only see it being Froch.

It's very important to consider the size advantedge, when we know that Carl Froch can punch. GGG has seemed a little puzzled the last couple of fights in small spots, elsewhere looked unstoppable. But when talking about a beard, we can not overlook Carl Froch ability to fight hard through all 12 rounds.

I might be wrong at 5am in the morning, but wasn't GGG breathing very heavily in his last fight. We gotta remember that he's a bit up in age and haven't been met by anyone who was considered as dangerous as Carl.

Froch got outboxed by some pale ginger for the better half of two fights. Ggg is superior to groves in every aspect. As long as he's not foolish, he should be able to win a wide ud. Going to war with him has no benefits, it's possible he can't hurt froch so why get into a battle in the trenches? Just batter and box him.

Can Carl Froch knock out another GG in front of 80,000 at Wembley? Either way, he better start chopping some trees.

On a serious note, if Golovkin gets hit clean by Froch it will be night night but I think Golovkin willingly neglects his defence if he doesn't feel power and maybe he held back on Monroe to make others want to fight him. I see Golovkin becoming the first one to stop Froch, too much wear and tear at 38 imo.

Edit: To those that are saying Golovkin's power won't carry up and Froch's chin is granite. The latter is true but Froch has been in a lot of wars and even the best chins get cracked. Now about GGG's power, Sergey Kovalev said he hits hard, Julius Jackson said he hits harder than the heavyweights he's sparred, he also dropped groves and reportedly broke his ribs in sparring. Canelo also sparred with him and mentioned his strength. Golovkins power will carry up.

345-5, Olympic Silver Medalist. Trust me the dude can box, he fights aggressive because he has power and as a foreigner, you need to be able to sell yourself or the fans won't pay to watch you.

I absolutely hate that, the fact boxing "fans" think a fighter fighting offensively means it's not "boxing". Boxing isn't just running and grabbing mate. Robinson and Leonard were 2 of the most effective offensive fighters of their respective eras yet I've never heard anyone tell me they couldn't box.

Fum fight to watch just on the star power alone but outside of Froch somehow fighting a perfectly cagey inside and outside fight I dont see him suriving past 9 rounds. He keeps it on the outside and he has to fight the perfect fight the fight of his life to keep GGG at bay with a stiff jab and clinch and roll as much as possible. Groves caught Froch clean on the button and that was from an exchange.. I see Golovkin as too fast on his feet and just to rough in the inside for Froch. He boxes well enough to get inside comfortably and is not afraid to hook with a hooker. GGG by vicious K.O.
