Arum rules out Pacquiao-Matthysse "not gonna happen"

Pretty early to start judging it, especially just because Arum rules out this fight, which isn't exactly in high demand.

They had plans to work together on Cotto-Canelo, but those plans changed.

Can't fault either side for how that went down, Cotto simply chose to go another direction...a direction that looks like it will still lead Cotto back to Canelo.

There'll be plenty of opportunities in the future, perhaps with the winner of Timothy Bradley-Jesse Vargas against Sadam Ali, or Lucas Matthysse against Brandon Rios.

Those are TR/GBP fights that presumably HBO would have an interest in, and as long as HBO is working with Top Rank and Golden Boy, there will likely be a financial incentive for them to work together.

That's because people are use to taking whatever slop uncle Bob feeds them. Nobody is asking for Pac vs Porter,Thurman,Canelo,Broner,Khan,Garcia,Maidana because we know it's going to be one of a handful of Arum's guys Crawford,Vargas,Bradley3,Marquez 10, etc... none of those fights are as appealing as the fights I mentioned above but for some reason Manny doesn't have to fight those guys.
