So, Pac's been (allegedly) showing up at an orphanage after each of his Vegas fights since 2001, but the first actual record (written or pics) of it comes when his persona is getting killed for being an excuse maker.
Can't find another single reference on the internet of one of the biggest boxing stars in the world showing up at a Vegas orphanage after each fight (even on the St Jude website) other than this current mention.
Cool story, bro.
And before you start with the 'this is being done discreetly' and the charity wouldn't pimp this, keep this in mind. I just used the search function on the St Jude website for 'Pacquiao' and found nothing. Then I tried 'Mayweather' and found this press release (LINK):
May 3, 2102
St. Jude's Ranch for Children received a $25,000 donation from the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Diamonds Love Foundation Spring of Style Pre-Fight Social Affair and Fundraiser. The event was said to be a "fully integrated experiential marketing platform bringing entertainment and lifestyle programming to the Spring's most prestigious sporting event: Ring King's boxing matches featuring Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley in separate bouts."
The two Foundations chose a local charity that closely fits their missions. The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation (FMJF) is dedicated to empower and promote the social development and advancement of struggling adults and adolescents. Focusing on community health and wellness, economic growth and development and youth education ***8211; all areas touched by St. Jude's Ranch for Children.
The Diamond's Love Foundation, founded by the Mosley family in 2010 amoung other goals: supports at risk youth and children which also closely ties with St. Jude's Ranch's mission.
"We at St. Jude's Ranch are simply speechless by the generosity of these great fighters and their respective foundations. This money will go a LONG way to care for our children, young adults and families! For instance, the USDA only reimburses us for breakfast and lunches for our children, but NOT dinners. We pay $1.57 per child, per day out of our pockets to provide a very basic need for our children ***8211; dinner! This $25,000 could provide over 15,923 meals for our kids and we can't thank Mr. Mayweather and Mr Mosley enough," says Sarah Sheehan, Director of Community Relations at St. Jude's Ranch.Last edited by Sweet Jones; 05-19-2015, 04:40 AM.Comment

you guys need to go to sports injury forums, like a football or rugby forum and ask what rotator cuff injury feels like! It's the real deal and an athlete's harm become immobile as it's a ***** depending on which muscle is torn. usually lifting up hurts like hell. Anyhow, any significant injury it'd be impossible to train for at least two weeks with FULL recovery and Toradol can only do so much but to only relieve pain.
The reality is that your trainer knows BETTER than ANYBODY on the status of his fighters. Is Arum even remotely around Pac and Roach in training?! How is Roach going to say 2 weeks and then Arum say ''no it was more than that...'' and then Roach just smurks regarding the plan like a ''oh ok whatever you say'' because to Roach - with pride - still knows they lost - so the excuses don't matter. Does anybody get this?Comment
