Roger knows boxing. He doesn't think Floyd won that fight.
Floyd Sr. knows boxing. He didn't think Floyd won that fight and he thought he was running. He told him you're fighting scared man!
Holyfield knows boxing. He didn't think Floyd won that fight.
Tyson knows boxing. He didn't think Floyd won that fight.

Actually, Roger is wrong. Floyd doesn't really need to beat Pac to earn the respect of people. All he simply needs to do is fight Pac like a man. Engage and go toe to toe with the midget. Give the people their money's worth. Floyd has all the advantages over Pac so why doesn't he test yourself? Isn't greatness about seeking challenges and adversity and showing people what you can do in these moments? And in doing so it will also give the people watching, a fight that they will remember the rest of their lives and a fight that will stand the test of time. And then, win or lose, you'll have the fans respect. Even if it happens that Floyd got KTFO, the people will still give him the respect he deserves and applaud his performance. And people would walk out of the arena with smiles on their faces and exclaiming "That was a freaking epic fight!". The same goes if Pac got KTFO. People would still be smiling from the exciting fight they saw. No one would lose any respect for a fighter who fought like a man even if said fighter lost or got KTFO. Unless you're just a hater or a blind fan boy.
This was the biggest stage in sports, not just boxing mind you, in sports. That's why this should've been a statement match. Too bad Floyd didn't care about giving the people, especially the people who paid, something worth watching and memorable. And now he has to take the boos everywhere.Last edited by ganthet; 05-19-2015, 02:32 AM.Comment
