To many overall biased opinions. Even when some of you make points, your points sway towards the fighter you are rooting for the most. I am more of a fan for GGG than I'll ever be for Canelo, but with that being said, I do have a lot of respect for him(Canelo).

I believe this is a 50/50 fight. Their styles will match well, Golovkin putting the pressure with power and accuracy, and Canelo using his great counter skills with combinations and speed.

The time for this fight is okay in my opinion... Both GGG and Alvarez fans will have excuses after we find out who loses between the two. If GGG fought Canelo years ago and won, Canelo fans would have said he was too young, small and inexperienced. If Canelo wins this September, GGG fans will cry and say that Golovkin was aged... Considering some people believe that was the reason it took a while to make this fight happen (g.boy aging golovkin), whatever the case may be, this fight is going to happen and I believe Golovkin has plenty time left and this will truly be a 50/50.

I am not gonna sit here and say who's going to win and how. Both fighters have a lot to offer, as well as a lot to lose. I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome September 16th.

Not to mention, GGGs jab is about the best in the biz at the weight, and unless Canelo somehow turns into some slick runner, Golovkin can simply walk him back constantly with the jab and then flurry on him when Canelo looks to counter.

This may end very badly for Canelo unless there is some corruption in the form of a referee or a ring doctor who'll call a cut caused by a hook or OH shot and accidental clash and force it to a TD where Canelo might have 5 rds paid for by his promoter.

GGG might be getting old. i thought his last 2 fights were his worst since the Kassim Ouma fight(a long ass time ago)

still i can see GGG winning the boxing/jabbing part of the contest. his jab is the ***** and i think GGG might try to give Canelo the Lemieux treatment and jab him for several rounds to start the fight.

i dont know what the ***** happens when GGG really steps to Canelo tho.

picking GGG by decision,I think the odds of -165 GGG, +145 Canelo b pretty accurate

She's the same judge who had Bradley beating Pacquiao in the first fight. She never should've had a big fight after that horrendous card.
          Is she still a judge?

She is retired. So it's all good.

Size - Canelo(shorter and weighs more)
Power - Golovkin by a huge margin
Chin - Neither has been dropped
                Defense - Canelo
Experience - Canelo (more experience in big fights. GGG has been "exposed" in 2 of his only big fights.)
Footwork - Both have great footwork
Counterpunch - Canelo (the biggest key factor)

It's a match of a more experienced fighter with tremendous power who has shown his age in the past few fights by getting hit versus a young megastar fighter that has proven he can handle the big stage!

I see Canelo winning this fight by slipping GGG shots and forcing GGG backwards.
                You're serious???

Golovkin has the much superior footwork. He's way lighter on his feet, Canelo's flatfooted, his heels are always planted.

I'm surprised so many people have GGG winning. It must be because the poll is so old. A couple of years ago, I would've said GGG, but now, I'm slightly leaning towards Canelo. It's pretty much a 50/50 fight.

Best fight in boxing right now.

The majority of this site is Golovkin fans so I'm not surprised with this poll regardless of what has changed.
