I really don't understand boxing politics anymore. When there's a chance to make a great fight, why dodge it? I thought Mexicans owned the "warrior before all else" mentality? Am I wrong or has that changed?

Maybe he does want the fight but would oscar even allow it? Remember oscar said he didn't want Nelo to fight trout

He aint at middleweight he is at Caneloweight. He is starting his own division at 155, and the belt will be a troll doll with ginger hair. Some like this to commemorate the founder.

Honestly IDT Canelo would avoid him if they where in the same division, and I cant say he is now because they ain't in the same division officially Caneloweight and all, but Canelo sure is good at making it look like he is.

Canelo is not a Mexican. Have you seen him? He's ginger for god's sake! He's clearly some white guy who learned Spanish, and is pulling the wool over our eyes.

Many get really ****** when it comes to this.

Canelo has a stellar resume. He is still rebuilding his star after the Floyd loss. He is fighting at a made up 155 division that is still not quite 160. So he wants to take his time. Fine. He faced Trout and Lara when nobody wanted. He is a good guy to have.

GGG is a monster. But if Canelo is ducking him, then GGG is ducking Ward, who himself is ducking Kovalev. None are likely true. But many of you just pick favorites.

All i know is that Canelo has faced everyone we wanted so far. Cotto is the 160 lineal champ who has no need to fight GGG (and thus should drop the farce). GGG has to beg Canelo and Cotto for a fight but wouldn't have to beg anyone at 168. And Ward doesn't fight nor wants to move to 172.

Sorry, Canelo is the last guy to dump on in this.

He is going to be fighting Cotto in fairness. Not like he's cherry picking bums. It's a huge fight in it's own right and it makes sense to try and get both done.

I don't think you can criticise Alvarez for who he fights. Danny Garcia he is not.

You're an idiot. What in Canelo's career makes you think he'd duck GGG? And if Cotto/Canelo is to happen late this yeah how is Canelo hoping in six months GGG ages?
