Thanks for that. Ya that's a crazy upset, sonsona isn't much better than the cans this guy was previously fighting but even that slight increase in caliber was too much for this guy. Absolutely dreadful to get caught by one of those haymakers.

He was winging them hard... looks to be the gameplan. still. This dude is a career 118-122 guy who went up to 130 and KO'd him w/ a low KO percentage

I saw the fight and I'm really shocked because it was obvious that Estrella was the better more polished boxer. Sonsona looked like someone who just picked up the sport a year ago. But this is boxing and one punch can change a fight regardless of the skill level.

Sonsona threw wide punches hoping to catch Estrella with something and he did.

It's tough to lose a fight, but it's tougher to lose to a totally inferior fighter.

Estrella was ranked no.3 by boxrec, Sonsona was ranked 109 lol.

The good news is that he's young so he can possibly rebound from this.

Never mind legit prospects such as Oscar Valdez, Gilberto Ramirez, Diego De La Hoya, Rey Vargas, and Andres Gutierrez, just pretend that Garcia and Estrella were the best Mexico has to offer.

Thanx for that! Much smaller and very light punching Sonsona caught him clean with all his weight behind a haymaker. But here's the rest of the story: Estrella didn't roid for this fight because he felt he didn't have to(to save $$$) like Juan Francisco Estrada wrongly estimated vs Joebert Alvarez. But those 2 Filipinos *INVESTED* in roids in preparation for those 2 Mexicans because it's a big deal to beat or look good vs a top Mexican and leads to bigger $$$ making opportunities to cash in on your investment. Estrella roids in the rematch and fights more intelligently for an easy KO. Mexicans, take your got damn roids! Shhhhhhhh........

I love seeing unbeaten fighters get taken out. They start getting big heads and thinking their **** doesn't stink and something like this is a nice way to introduce them to the real world that yes, their **** does stink, no, they are not God's gift to boxing, no life is not burger king, you cannot always have it your way.

I literally decided to take a nap right after the 1st round. Wasn't too interested in the fight because Estrella looked like easily the superior fighter in the 1st round and just figured he would wear him down and knock him out around the 6th rd. Lmao then I come and read this thread and the shock I had was hilarious. Crazy that he got knocked out like that.
